Zero Emission Hydrogen Electric Vehicle displays

September 11, 2018 (San Francisco) – Energy Independence Now (EIN), a national environmental nonprofit, announced that on Thursday, September 13, it will host an interactive expo of the latest zero emission fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) and fueling technologies. The event, The Hydrogen Electric Experience, will be held from 12pm – 6pm on the block of 111 Minna Street in San Francisco (Minna between 2nd St and New Montgomery St).

The Hydrogen Electric Experience
will feature Toyota’s new hydrogen fuel cell electric truck (with a 300-mile range), an AC Transit hydrogen electric bus, and passenger vehicles including the Honda Clarity FCEV, Toyota Mirai, and new Hyundai Nexo.

“EIN is pioneering policy recommendations, advocacy and public awareness campaigns to ensure clean hydrogen electric vehicles help California meet its aggressive zero emission transportation goals to reduce air pollution and carbon emissions,” said EIN’s Executive Director, Brian Goldstein. “Our team is thrilled to highlight California’s progress building the Hydrogen Highway as well as the state’s commitment to clean, zero emission technology and renewable fuels. Home to over 5,000 FCEVs, California leads the world in hydrogen electric vehicle adoption. The Hydrogen Electric Experience will showcase cutting-edge, zero emission vehicles that are already on the road. We welcome Global Climate Action Summit attendees, media and the public to join us and check out electric vehicles, of all sizes, which can travel more than 300 miles after a five-minute refueling.”

The Hydrogen Electric Experiencewill be held in conjunction with a series of day-long meetings, which will gather CEOs and executives from 53 member-companies of the Hydrogen Council, alongside key stakeholders and influencers in clean energy.
